On April 11, 2008, West Texas A&M University will sponsor the Fourteenth Annual Student Research Conference in Canyon, TX. The conference provides undergraduate and graduate students across the academic spectrum with a supportive environment in which to share their research and gain recognition for their efforts. Judging of research is based on both content and presentation and students can submit an abstract for either a panel presentation or a poster session, or submit a completed paper for the cash award competition. Completed paper competitors are also required to present their paper. The conference will culminate with an awards reception honoring outstanding papers, posters, performances, and digital media. Cash awards will be presented for the top completed papers that are submitted and this year there will be up to $2,000 in cash awards. In addition, this year’s conference features an opportunity for students to participate in performance or submit their digital media creations to be judged. Participation in the conference is free and open to any undergraduate or graduate student. The submission deadline is April 1, 2008. More information on the conference, the submission of abstracts, poster requirements, etc… can be found at: http://www.wtamu.edu/research/killgore/krc/src/
