Social science and humanities faculty are invited to apply for the 2008 Summer Institute for Israel Studies Fellowship. The Summer Institute assists college and university faculty in designing new courses in Israel Studies.
The Institute takes place at Brandeis University, June 18 - July 1, 2008, and in Israel, July 3 - July 11, 2008. At Brandeis, Institute fellows will participate in seminars focused on Israelís society, politics, economics, culture, foreign affairs, and diplomacy. During the Israel study tour, fellows will meet with prominent scholars, government officials, writers, artists, public intellectuals, and Jewish and Arab community leaders.
