The 14th Annual Carolina Conference on Romance Literatures is now accepting abstracts and proposals for next year's conference, which will take place March 27th-29th, 2008, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The title of this year's conference is "Questioning Textualities: A Transatlantic Approach?" Papers or panels related to this topic in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, and Comparative Literatures will be considered, and interdisciplinary approaches are encouraged.

This year's keynote speakers are Rosa Beltran and Lise Gauvin. A spotlight presentation will be given by Santiago Roncagliolo.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is Dec. 15, 2007. Please see attached flyers for more information, and feel free to post the Call for Papers and flyer or forward them to all who may be interested.
