Hilarious Comedy from the Past …
This hilarious musical comedy is built around a simple plot: film producers search for new “stars” and talents across Uzbekistan of the 1950s. A team of directors, actors and government officials “discovers” music and dance traditions of various regions in Uzbekistan and “learns” about the life of ordinary Uzbek people in an interesting mixture of Uzbek national and socialist realist style.
