The third and final Mobidays conference in Rome aims to analyse and disseminate the most important results obtained in sustainable demonstration transport projects. The event, funded by FP6 - European Commission, coordinated by prof. Orecchicni of CIRPS-Sapienza, Università di Roma, will be an opportunity to demonstrate the results achieved, the main goals reached and the problems still to be solved.
The conference aims to provide the opportunity to disseminate and discuss the results achieved in large-scale European and non-European demonstration projects. It is also an opportunity to compare such projects with similar ones carried out worldwide, especially with those in the USA and Japan. In particular, the conference aims to analyse problems in implementing the results of the research in order to identify possible solutions.
For this reason, the stakeholders and experts who are active in research projects on sustainable mobility are invited to take part in the event, to participate in the debate and to compare and integrate their own experiences and knowledge. In addition, it is hoped that demonstration projects aiming to introduce into the market new concept vehicles, innovative fuels and distribution stations should be considered in order to identify the obstacles faced in converting them into commercial products.
Targeted action will hopefully lead to discussion about sustainable road transport, involving experts as well as key institutional players, the media and general public.
