In June 2007 around 30 British historians of the US gathered at the Institute for the Study of the Americas (ISA) in London for the inaugural meeting for a new organization of Historians of the Twentieth-Century United States (HOTCUS). The Association's first conference will be held in London from 26-28 June 2008. Papers are requested on all topics concerning the history of the United States in the twentieth century.
