On 18-21 October, 2007, The Franciscan Institute is sponsoring a conference on "The Opera Philosophica of John Duns Scotus". This is the first of four international conferences held in commemoration of the 700th anniversary of the death of Scotus within the framework of the Quadruple Congress. Other sites are: Oxford (July 2008)- the Opera theologica; Bonn-Cologne (November 2008)- the Metaphysics and Ethics; and Strasbourg (March 2009) - Scotism through the Centuries.
