Panel and individual paper proposals are invited for the Asian American Culture Area of the 2nd annual Oceanic Popular Culture Association Conference. Topics and proposals that examine cultural productions within and/or about the Oceanic region are especially welcome. All proposals will be considered. Possible topics include:

*Asian American Culture
*The Construction of the Asian Body in Literature and Film
*Propaganda and Rhetoric
*Representations of Asian Americans in Literature, Film and Television
*Asian Pacific American Film and Literature
*Asian American themes or motifs in media arts
