Proteus: A Journal of Ideas
Facets of Higher Learning
For its Spring 2008 issue, Proteus seeks essays and scholarly articles, photographs, poetry, and visual art that examine higher learning, teaching, and education in a variety of contexts and settings. Submissions are encouraged from a wide range of disciplines including (but not limited to) education, psychology, political science, philosophy, gender studies, cultural studies, and history. Our journal seeks both broad theoretical inquiries into the nature of higher education as well as case studies of learning and teaching in particular settings. The submission of artwork is encouraged.
Manuscript deadline: October 15, 2007
Documents should follow Chicago Manual of Style with a preferred length of 2000-5000 words. Manuscript submitted in MSWord as an attachemnt to: protues@ship.edu
