The Popular Culture and American Culture Associations (PCA/ACA) will hold a joint national meeting in San Francisco on March 19-22, 2008.

Panels and individual papers on aspects of Chicana and Chicano culture are encouraged for our 2008 meeting. The “Chicana/Chicano Culture: Literature, Film, Theory” area tends to be multicultural and interdisciplinary/transdisciplinary, and panels and individual papers may explore practically any issues relevant to Chicana and Chicano cultural studies. Inqiuires are welcome.

Please send (approximately 100-word) proposals BY NOVEMBER 9 to Scott Baugh, area chair, and please see the conference website for general information about the meeting.
