H-Net graduate students,
I am interested in organizing a panel for the Boston College Biennial Conference on the History of Religion held on March 14-15, 2008. The theme this year relates to religious identities. I am attempting to organize a panel to be proposed to the conference's organizers dealing with the specific topic of Religious Responses to Popular Culture. If you have recently done research on this topic and would like to be a part of the panel, please e-mail me with the 300-word proposal that is required for submission. Obviously this invite is open to any current graduate student but you will be responsible for transportation to and from the conference and any and all expenses for your own participation if our panel proposal is accepted. Information about the conference itself can be found at http://www.h-net.org/announce/show.cgi?ID=156770
The deadline for all materials to be submitted is October 1, 2007 so if you are interested, please respond as soon as possible.
