Elsewhere: A Journal for the Literature of Place invites submissions of essays about teaching place or teaching the literature of place. Accepted essays will be published in the Summer 2008 “Teaching Place” issue. Essays should be critical, clear, and creative. Address the essay to a general interested readership. MLA format where necessary.

Deadline for proposals and abstracts: November 2.
Deadline for complete essays: February 8.
