This Friday evening, September 14, from 6:30-7 pm, Professor Lynn Keller will present a gallery talk at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art on the exhibition Jess: To and From the Printed Page.
Dr. Keller will discuss the intersection of the work of California artist Jess with literature and poetry, as well Jess' long collaboration with his partner, poet Robert Duncan. The current exhibition features examples of Jess's celebrated impastos, collages, and designs, as well as the books and magazines in which they were reproduced.
There is no admission charge for the museum or the gallery talk.The museum is located at 227 State Street.
