The Swedenborg Society and Goldsmiths, University of London, are holding a joint conference on Friday 2nd November to celebrate William Blake’s extraordinary achievements. Its aim is to place Blake within a variety of historical, literary, cultural and artistic contexts. Iain Sinclair and Arthur Versluis head a line up of international speakers invited to talk about Blake’s London and his place within the esoteric tradition. It will also explore his sectarian heritage, his readings of radicals and mystics, his knowledge of science and the reception of his work.
