ANTHROPOLOGISTS AND HEALTHCARE ENVIRONMENTS: ENGAGING IN DESIGN AND HEALTHCARE DELIVERY will be an SMA sponsored session and seeks to highight the contribution of behavioral and research specialists working collaboratively in healthcare design, healthcare delivery systems in order to improve real-life settings where care takes place: In hospitals, clinics, physician's offices, etc. The goal of this session is to spark greater involvement of medical and applied anthropologists to the tasks of healthcare design and delivery--inclusive of all its facets. The session is jointly sponsored by the CENTER FOR HEALTH DESIGN, which carries out research and partners environmental, facilities, aesthetics, clinical practice and healthcare delivery with design and construction.
