The 14th Century Society seeks paper proposals for the International Congress on Medieval Studies, to be held at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan, May 8-11, 2008, on topics related to "Cohesiveness & Collective Identity." These terms include, but are not limited to, entities such as nations, cities, religious organizations, guilds, and families. Papers dealing with some aspect of "Cohesiveness & Collective Identity" in history, religious studies, literature, or any other aspect of 14th century culture are welcome.
Please send paper title, brief abstract, and, if possible, a completed "Abstract Cover Sheet" from the Congress Web site at . Your proposal must include contact information: both electronic and physical addresses. Proposal deadline is September 15, 2007.
