Call for Papers: Pacific Sociological Association: The Graduate School Experience: Applying and Surviving
2008 PSA Meeting – April 10th-13th, 2008 at the Marriott Hotel in Portland, OR.
Presentation proposals are now being accepted for The Graduate School Experience: Applying and Surviving session of the 2008 Pacific Sociological Association meeting in Portland, OR, April 10th -13th 2008. The session organizer seeks 10-15 minute presentations from graduate students who are beginning their graduate studies or are close to filing their dissertations. The session organizer is especially interested in graduate students who have worked with or sat on graduate admissions committees at a Ph.D. granting university or who are attending (or recently attended) a Ph.D. granting university after having completed a terminal master’s degree program. Faculty presentations from both Ph.D. and Master’s granting institutions would also be most welcome.
Please send presentation titles and abstracts via e-mail or mail (e-mail is greatly preferred) by November 1st 2007 to Michael Barnes at the addresses below. Make sure to include home department and institutional affiliation with your proposal.
