Call for Papers.
TOPIC: Image of the Prostitute in Film and Popular Culture Roundtable. The Oldest Profession: The Whys and Wherefores for the continued fascination of this subject in Literature, Drama, & Film. For example: O'Neill's Anna Christie, Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment & Notes from Underground, Fellini's Nights of Cabiria, Scorcese's Taxi Driver,Dietrich in Blue Angel, Bergman in Hitchcock's Notorious, Lulu in Pandora's Box. But others too: individually or in aggregate. All perspectives welcome.
