Submissions to the 33rd Annual Conference of the Social History Society may now be made via the web-site http://www.socialhistory.org.uk/annualconference.htm.
The conference takes place in Rotterdam, 27-29 March 2008, hosted by the Erasmus University. The programme is arranged around six thematic strands Spaces and Places; Representation, Memory and the Self; Production and Consumption; Life-cycles and Life-styles; Deviance, Inclusion and Exclusion; and the Theory and Practice of Social and Cultural History. Further details may be found on the web-site. The deadline for receipt of proposals is October 8 and the conference sub-committee aims to notify results in November.
