CALL FOR PAPERS

Papers are invited for presentation at the annual conference of the CRLH at the University of Lincoln. A brief outline of c200 words would be welcome in the first instance. The exact date TBC.

Suggested themes:

War and its representation in public history -museums - media - literature - theatre etc

War and personal testimony / memory and remembrance / national identity

The impact of war on people/regions/localities

Local studies, for example, American GIs and East Anglian communities in World War Two; US training camps and the local economy; refugees and patterns of migration.

Ideas / papers for other themes are welcome.
