ECHOES OF WAR: STORIES FROM THE BIG RED ONE
(upcoming PBS television documentary)
To supplement Ken Burns’ _The War_ airing in September 2007, Ball State University and WIPB-TV are producing a digital media experience titled "Echoes of War: Stories from the Big Red One." This BSU-WIPB program will focus more narrowly on the First Infantry Division – the "Big Red One." This program will be live, interactive, and educational. It will originate from the First Division Museum at Cantigny in Wheaton, Illinois. This program will air twice on Thursday, September 27, once during school at 1pm EST and a second time for the general public at 8pm EST.
If a local PBS affiliate is not airing "Echoes of War," then please consider contacting that station’s program manager, forwarding the above link, and requesting that the station pick up "Echoes of War." If a local school district is not airing "Echoes of War," then please consider contacting that school’s history teachers and asking them to show it to their students.
