Proposals for individual presentations, panels, or roundtable discussions on any aspect of the Depiction of Women in Popular Culture which includes (but is not limited to):
• Public and Private Images of Women
• Media Depiction of Women
• Makeovers vs. Remaking
• Fictional Depictions in Film, Music, Literature
• Fantasy Women
• Third Wave Feminism (4th Wave?)
Acceptance in the Women’s Studies Area constitutes your agreement to priority register, attend, and present your work. Priority Registration: 6/1/2007 to 12/15/2007; Registration Fees: Professional $140.00; Graduate Student $120.00; Retirees $50.00; Spouse, Guest $50.00.
