The Atlantic Community (www.atlantic-community.org) is the first “open” think tank to deal with key challenges to the transatlantic relationship in the 21st century. Using the latest ideas in collective intelligence gathering, it facilitates connection and discussion between the next generation of decision-makers and senior politicians, scholars and journalists. In doing so it hopes that this communication will help to build a new and strong bridge over the Atlantic at difficult times.

The best arguments from the discussion in the Policy Workshop will find their way into Executive Summaries. These memos will be distributed to decision-makers on both sides of the Atlantic, thus allowing all users to participate in transatlantic agenda setting. In addition, the website offers readers a comprehensive knowledge pool of news and debate on the latest global issues, as well as opportunities to network and get in contact with other members of the Community throughout Europe and North America.
