I am looking for one more paper to complete a panel on social responses to the threat of hurricanes. I agreed to chair a panel after I was approached by two undergraduates, one writing on the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet and and the other on the 1926 Miami hurricane. I would welcome another student paper. I am a public historian who documented a portion of the military's response to hurricane Katrina.
