Special Issue on Race, Ethnicity, and Americans

Call for Submissions

Guest Editor: Assist. Prof. Dr. Timothy M. Roberts Bilkent University, Ankara

The Journal of American Studies of Turkey announces a special issue for 2007 on race, ethnicity, and Americans. This issue seeks to present innovative studies in American racial and ethnic identities and constructions of identity from historical, literary, sociological, international, or comparative perspectives. Interdisciplinary approaches are welcome. The issue will contain research articles as well as reviews of recent books and films. Only submissions of original articles and reviews not previously published or concurrently under consideration elsewhere will be considered.

The postmark deadline for submissions for this issue is October 15, 2007.
