Fay Yarbrough and Sandra Slater are compiling a collection of essays that brings together scholarship on gender and native societies in North America through the Early Republic period of American history. Essays may address any geographic region within North America, chronology, or indigenous tribe. We are seeking abstracts by August 1, 2007 in order to provide potential publishers with a workable framework. Graduate students as well as established scholars are encouraged to submit. If interested, please email Sandra with specifics.
