The Robert Tressell Festival will be held in Hastings, UK on 30th June and 1st July, 2007. Speakers include Hilda Kean, Ruskin College, Oxford, Clive Griggs, University of Brighton, Ricky Tomlinson and Andy Lynch. Plus exhibitions about the life and work of Robert Tressell and talks, photographs and films about his life and times in the context of Edwardian Hastings and his thesis behind The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists.
