Qualified authors needed to write chapters for The Greenwood Encyclopedia of Children's Issues Worldwide, to be published this year by Greenwood Press. This 6-volume set, organized by region, explores the key issues facing the world's children today. We have had several contributors withdraw from the project at a late date, and we are looking for high quality replacement authors to fill these gaps.
We are looking for authors to write chapters on the following countries within the Sub Saharan Africa volume:
Burundi & Rwanda
Central African Republic
Chad
Congo, Democratic Republic
Congo (Brazzaville)
Mauritania
Ethiopia
Somalia
Kenya
Tanzania
Zambia
LENGTH: 3000-7000 words
COMPENSATION: A copy of the work and a modest honorarium
THE CATCH: A quick turnaround -- we'd ask for June 15 delivery date (somewhat flexible).
