With the attached Call for Papers, we want to invite you, most cordially, to participate in a conference that we are organizing, here at Radboud University, 27-29 June 2007, on the enigmatic concept-metaphor of Sophia. Our aim is to bring together, in a single place, the various branches of scholarly research that occupy themselves with Sophia. Part of the conference will be a cultural programme, focusing on different ways in which Sophia is "present" (or represented) in culture. We would very much welcome your participation, and look forward to hearing from you.
