Call for papers and participation on all subjects of historical interest for the 47th annual meeting of the Florida Conference of Historians, Feb. 28-Mar. 1, 2008. Hosted by Jacksonville Univ. on the beach at Jacksonville Beach, FL. We welcome submissions for panels and individual papers. We offer to publish selected papers and summaries of round table discussions in the "Selected Annual Proceedings of the Florida Conference of Historians," a referred journal. Dr. James Cobb, B. Phinizy Spaulding Distinguished Professor of History at the University of Georgia and former President of the Southern Historical Association, will be our keynote speaker.
Supporting undergraduate research, we will also devote sessions to undergraduate presentations. Proposal deadline, Jan. 7, 2008. For questions, information, and forms, please contact Jay Clarke at jclarke@ju.edu.
