I would like to announce the new and updated edition of the Online Bibliography on Environmental History of Latin America. The bibliography was originally designed by Prof. Lise Sedrez, some years ago, and has been completely renovated. I am one of the new editors of the bibliography and I would like to invite all members of the H-Latam to visit the new URL: http://www.csulb.edu/projects/laeh/
This new version is more user-friendly, more interactive with a search engine (based on Refworks), and you can download references to EndNote, or other bibliography software. In addition, this website is a virtual meeting place where one can read the latest news from SOLCHA, the Sociedad Latinoamericana y CaribeŮa de Historia Ambiental, read syllabi that professors have sent us, and receive updates on other occurrences regarding this field. We are hoping to add new syllabi. If you are teaching a class on the environmental history of Latin America and would like to share your syllabus, please send us a copy.
We are still looking for bugs; let us know if something is not working, as it should. Finally, please send us suggestions of references, books, or other materials such as documentaries. Also, if you have used the new page and found it useful, we would really appreciate if you could send us your feedback. The new updated version of this website was possible due to a grant from CSULB. We would love to include comments on the new format in the grant report.
