The Center for Collaborative Scholarship in the Humanities at Georgia State University and the National Endowment for the Humanities invite humanities scholars in the southeastern US to a proposal-writing workshop on Friday, April 20, 2007 on the campus of Georgia State University in Atlanta.
The workshop will be led by Dr. Russ Wyland, Acting Deputy Director of the NEH’s Division of Research, and will begin at 9am. The group workshop will conclude at 1pm, and there will be an opportunity, by appointment, for individual meetings with Dr. Wyland in the afternoon to discuss individual proposals.
The workshop will include a brown-bag lunch session, “grants.gov 101,” an overview of the sometimes difficult new centralized system through which most federal grants (including NEH grants) are now funneled.
For additional information and a link to on-line registration, please visit the Website for the Center for Collaborative Scholarship in the Humanities at:

There is no charge for the workshop. Online registration for the workshop is being hosted by eventbrite.com. Participants will be asked to register as if they were buying tickets, but there will be no charges and no financial information will be requested.
