Proposals are invited for a conference co-sponsored by the Association for the Study of Connecticut History and the Connecticut Supreme Court Historical Society. Papers may cover topics on Connecticut's constitutional and legal history from the Fundamental Orders to present, including Connecticut's Constitutions of 1818 and 1965 and their amendments, Connecticut's colonial government under the Fundamental Orders and Charter of 1662, the work of the Connecticut Supreme Court and other courts, religious disestablishment, voting rights and representation, and the social impact of Connecticut law. The conference will take place at the University of Connecticut School of Law on November 3, 2007.
