The Clinton Institute for American Studies, University College Dublin, invites applications for its inaugural Summer School, July 16-22, 2007. The School is aimed at advanced graduate students and junior faculty in American Studies and its cognate fields. The program will offer participants the opportunity to work with preeminent figures in these fields and to investigate current developments in various branches of American Studies. In 2007 the core faculty will include Donald Pease (Dartmouth College), Elaine Tyler May (University of Minnesota), Werner Sollors (Harvard University), and Liam Kennedy (University College Dublin). Throughout the week, a visiting faculty will join the School program as lecturers and respondents.
