Optional pre- and postconference workshops and tours will be held on Friday, March 30 and Sunday, April 1.
Attend our first-ever conference on quilts. Lectures will explore such varied topics as 18th-century France's global textile trade, researching early American women's history, New England whole-cloth wool quilts, and contemporary quilt design and collecting.
Invited speakers are Linda Eaton, Winterthur; Kathryn Berenson, Consultant and Lecturer, France; Dr. Sarah Fatherly, Associate Professor of History, Otterbein College; Lynne Z. Bassett, Textile and Costume Historian, Massachusetts; Amelia Peck, Curator, Metropolitan Museum of Art; and Laura Fisher of Fisher Heritage Gallery, New York City.
