Dr. Adler is an acknowledged authority on our nearest hominid cousins, the Neanderthals. Recent archaeological discoveries in the southern Caucasus have brought new evidence into the efforts to define the similarities and differences between Neanderthals and modern humans. Dr. Adler will explain how these new discoveries challenge traditional views on how and why our Neanderthals cousins went extinct.
