“Humanities or Human Resources? The Future of Ethnic Studies and Labor in the Corporate University” will be held on Friday, April 13, 2007 in the Department of Social and Cultural Analysis at New York University. The keynote address will be delivered by Professor George Sanchez, Director of the Program in American Studies and Ethnicity at the University of Southern California.
The conference will explore the effects of corporatization on departmental administration, politics, and academic labor.
