West Chester University's Holocaust and Genocide Studies Program is working to publish a series of papers on the subject, "Representing the 'Other' in Film and Theater." The volume welcomes papers dealing with any of the below themes:
1.) Depictions of race and ethnicity in American film
2.) Race and ethnicity in American theater
3.) Gender, sexuality, and/or sexual orientation in American film
4.) Gender, sexuality, and/or sexual orientation in American theater
5.) The Holocaust and Jewish identity in American film
6.) The Holocaust and Jewish identity in American theater.
Papers should run between 4000-5000 words in length and can be sent electronically as a Microsoft Word attachment to: jfriedman@wcupa.edu.
Papers will be peer reviewed. Upon acceptance for publication, authors will receive a form to grant permission to publish their contribution.
