The Criminal Justice Network calls for papers for the next ESSHC (Lisbon, Portugal, Wednesday 27 February to Saturday 1 March 2008).
A number of key themes have been suggested for sessions, but we would also welcome other suggestions:
- Military justice (Prof. Rene Levy)
- Empire and Crime/Policing (Dr. Paul Lawrence)
- Policing of right-wing dictatorships (Dr. Jonathan Dunnage)
- Civil liberties and law enforcement (Dr. Anja Johansen)
We encourage you to submit paper or session proposals. The deadline for sending in a paper or session proposal is April 1, 2007.
Please send any proposal of 100-150 words to the conference secretariat (esshc@iisg.nl), with a copy for all three network chairs.
