The Berg Encyclopedia of World Dress and Fashion
East Europe Volume
Call for Papers
The Berg Encyclopedia of World Dress and Fashion is organized geographically in ten volumes. Contributors are required for volume 9, dedicated to East Europe, Russia and the Caucasus. The essays should cover the dress and fashion of the region from both a cultural and historical perspective. The volume will include 70 essays. Authors will receive a complimentary copy of the volume as compensation and $.05 for every word assigned over 4000. Entries are to be written in English and will average between 4000-6000 words, though length may vary depending on the topic.

Ukrainian dress
Armenian dress

The deadline for application is 15 March 2007, and the deadline for contributions is 1 November 2007.
