The Cuban Research Institute continues the tradition of convening scholars engaged in the study of Cuba and Cuban-Americans by announcing its 7th Conference to be held on February 21-22, 2008. The overarching theme of the conference, “Cuba 2008: The Uncertain Contours of Continuity and Change,” will focus on the current political, economic, cultural and social dynamics on the island.
