I’m editing a book on the American Industrial Revolution for ABC-Clio’s Perspectives in Social History series. I’m looking for someone to write an essay on how the Industrial Revolution shaped the American working class. The essay should be about 5,000 words long and should survey recent literature, and should also include two mini-biographies (about 350 words each) of relevant Americans. I’m looking especially for vivid, opinionated writers.
The deadline would be about May 1, and there will be a $600 honorarium.
