This is a call for one more presenter interested in being part of a roundtable discussion session for the 2008 AHA meeting. A provisional title for the roundtable is "U.S. Cultural Encounters at Home and Abroad." We already have four people interested to develop a discussion about US cultural imperialism and expansion with emphasis on Latin America, Vietnam and Continental US. Now we are looking for one more presenter. Hopefully we can get someone to discuss US cultural imperialism during the NINETEENTH CENTURY on a place different than LATIN AMERICA OR VIETNAM (i.e. Africa, Phillipines, Middle East, Europe, etc). If you are interested please write me no later than Sunday 11th and be ready to submit your paper title, abstract, cv and contact info by Monday 12th.
