We are arranging a panel for this years SSHA conference 15-18 nov, 2007, Chicago, Illinois on the theme "Social, demographic and economic consequences of pandemics, past and present" At this point we have papers that discuss the 1889-1890 influenza pandemic in Scandinavia, but would very much welcome contributions with other perspectives in time and space.
