I'm looking for other scholars interested in gender and crime to present on a panel at next year's Berks. My proposed paper concerns gender, race and crime in New York City in the 1960s, exploring the interplay of racialized crime discourses and notions of urban autonomy for women. Alternately, someone with interests in issues of gender and race in 1960s urban America might also work.
