March 23-5. Conference in Honor of Don Higginbotham. The Curriculum of Peace, War and Defense and the Department of History at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill are sponsoring a conference in honor of Don Higginbotham, former chair of the Curriculum of Peace, War and Defense, March 23-5. Speakers include Fred Anderson, Joe Ellis, Jack Greene, and Gordon Wood. The program will include a number of Don's PhDs. For more information, contact Ms. Jackie Gorman (jackie@unc.edu).
