Press Americana, the press of Americana: The Institute for the Study of American Popular Culture, seeks a few exceptional essays examining American film to round out a forthcoming book collection. Essays should be approximately 5000-8000 words and in MLA format. We are open to a variety of styles and approaches. Essays to date have analyzed a single film, but again we are open to any analytical essay examining American film. Please email submissions as attachments to editor@americanpopularculture.com. You may also contact that same email address for queries. Interested parties may want to visit Americana: The Journal of American Popular Culture and scroll through the archives to see the kinds of film scholarship we have published in the past.
