Program
Among the academic institutions and research centers in Mexico dedicated to research, reflection, analysis and the training of human resources in international cooperation for development, the Instituto Mora, located in Mexico City, is an exception. It offers a graduate program that is the only one of its kind in Mexico and research areas that meet national and international demand in this field.
The world of international cooperation is currently experiencing a moment of change in which the interests, objectives, methods, strategies, initiatives, mechanisms and actions for cooperation are being reviewed, from very different perspectives and by a variety of critical actors in order to meet the growing necessity for sustainable human development worldwide.
For Mexico, participation in international cooperation has involved constant transformation to meet the new needs that have been added to the traditional problems of national development; while its role within the international system has also changed. Mexico has developed from being a receiver of international cooperation to contributing as a donor country to countries with a lower level of economic development, particularly within the American continent.
The graduate program offered by the Mora Institute seeks to intensify the horizontal links of equity and solidarity through international cooperation.
