The Faculty of Communication and Media Studies at Eastern Mediterranean University invites paper, panel and event proposals addressing the general theme of “Communication in Peace/Conflict in Communication.” The Second International Conference, which will be held at the EMU campus in Famagusta, North Cyprus between May 2-4, 2007, aims at bringing together scholars to present their research and exchange ideas in a wide range of topics under the general theme including but not limited to:

The language of our international conference will be both English and Turkish.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 14 February 2007. Please send your abstracts (not more
than 300 words) by Wednesday 14 February 2007 to: cpcc@emu.edu.tr
An electronic submission form is also provided at the conference web site http://fcms.emu.edu.tr/cpcc . The deadline for submitting full papers is 06 April 2007.
Submissions are subject to blind peer review at every stage. Notifications of acceptance together with a paper style sheet will be sent on late february. Abstracts and papers will be accessible to all participants on the conference web site once the complete program is set.
