Florida A&M University proudly announces our plans to host The Fifteenth Annual Imhotep Interdisciplinary Student Research Conference, March 29th – March 31st, 2007 in conjunction with The 26th Anniversary of Black Psychology Theme Week. The conference will be held on the campus of Florida A&M University. This year’s conference will feature empirical and theoretical research papers and poster sessions by both graduate, undergraduate students and faculty. The conference theme is, “Building a Stronger Connection Bridging the Gap between Student and Faculty Research, with an emphasis on Publication”.
An independent panel of judges will evaluate the paper presentations. Based on the judges’ ratings, first, second and third place winners will be selected from the undergraduate and graduate paper presentations. Awards (monetary and certificates) will be given in recognition undergraduate and graduate achievement at the conclusion of the conference to recognize the outstanding presentations. Also, top research may be selected for publication in an edited text.
The deadline for submission of abstracts has been extended to February 15, 2007. Abstracts can be submitted electronically at FAMUPsychology@FAMU.EDU,
